A Shared Vision
live2give
Two husband and wife teams, Robert and Naomi and Gosia and Tobi (left to right) are at the heart of the Live2give Organic Farm in Palmerston North. Not content with the status quo we push the boundaries of regenerative and organic farming. We are motivated to innovate and make real progress in the sector, not only for our own farm but to share with the farming community. We very much appreciate the support of the customers who make the ongoing testing and trialling possible.

I find it a fascinating and extremely fulfilling challenge to promote the health of our soils through intelligent cultivation and at the same time produce valuable food, which I have been tackling together with the live2give vegetable growing team in the Westerwald (Germany) since 2015. In May 2022, I came to New Zealand to help set up Live2Give Organic Farm as a demonstration farm for regenerative mulch systems. A different climate brings with it many differences, but a respectful and appreciative approach to nature leads to impressive results everywhere.

I have a love for the land and what it can produce. My interest is in gaining knowledge to grow fresh vibrant produce, researching and trialling systems where both veges and soil thrive. I enjoy the simple, productive and outdoor life that naturally connects with so many people. The farm is a village type atmosphere where everyone helps each other, I find that attractive.
Once upon a time I ran an organic store - obtaining quality, fresh and organic produce could be difficult. So I started to grow them, and the adventure began.
Changes in climate and the environment have accelerated the need for innovation and resilience. I enjoy being part of this thinking together with other farmers and governing bodies.
