Crooked Vege Heirloom Organic Tomatoes

Organically grown heirloom tomatoes - variety "Russian Persimmon". These are saved seed from jenny lux, originally from heritage food crop research trust. Their research is looking for heirloom tomatoes with higher levels of tetra-cis-lycopene that are largely bred out of commercial varieties. This one also happens to past the test with other market gardeners i know for flavour :) its the tastiest one we've grown. A good sandwich slicer and salad tom (it's fleshier and less liquidy), great in a salsa and great cooked imo. Prone to more visual imperfections that commercial varieties tho (some cracking that will be familiar to other heirlooms)
