Sowing Cover Crops

Bottom right pic - our autumn cover crop looking good and almost ready to plant into. 🤩 We are sowing more of the same cover crop mix now and are expecting to plant vegetables into into it late spring/ early summer. Here you can see Tobi spreading seeds of triticale, hairy vetch, faba beans and crimson clover where we harvested broccoli during winter - which means some of the nutrients left behind by the broccoli leaves can be used up and recycled.

Garlic Update

We are looking forward to planting more garlic this coming week - a mix of regular and elephant garlic. Also check out this plot in the pic - due for harvest in December. 🤩
