Team Road Trips

We love visiting other vegetable growers, and whenever the opportunity arises, we seize it! Two weeks ago we headed to Auckland, and thoroughly enjoyed a stop-off in Hamilton visiting Warwick, Clare, Georgia and team at Earth Stewards Farm. We enjoyed seeing their cool innovations, from warm seedling raising beds, to soil sieving and compost making bins.

Last Wednesday, we headed to Masterton to visit Jos and Hendrik, the passionate duo behind Four Corners Organics. It was great to see their hothouses and get a glimpse of their thriving organic crops. We have been enjoying their organic tomatoes, eggplant, passionfruit and celery over the past few months and we appreciate the cooperation.

Next, we made our way to Te Manaia Organics, where Jeremy, Alex, and Evie gave us a warm welcome and shared their farm’s story. It’s always inspiring and thought-provoking to tour other farms, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
