Living Soil 🪱🪱🪱

As we mentioned last week, our large winter batch of organic cabbage has now been harvested. It was a great crop this year! After picking the cabbages, we mowed all the crop residues and took a look beneath the surface that hasn't been "touched" for months - so satisfying to see all the rich life underneath!

You can clearly observe abundant worm activity: air-filled pores, earthworm castings on the surface, and fine root growth. This porous, friable structure you can see in the photo is perfect for quick water infiltration and healthy root growth. We love it! 😍
