Pearl Barley, organically grown in NZ (wheat-free ) Barley is commonly used in soups, in which the polished kernels are cooked for several hours then mixed with vegetables. Cooked barley also makes great burgers, by blending half of the cooked barley until it is sticky, then mixing it with the rest of the barley and adding salt and other seasonings. We can also recommend milled barley as a slice base or biscuit ingredient.
